How does everyone feel about the Glow weight estimates?

Question

I'm really confused. At 34w1d my baby estimated 4.9 pounds and my doctor said he was on the small side, but still within normal range. Why does Glow have the estimated weight at 4.7 pounds now that I'm 34w5d. I feel like if he was small 4 days ago then this estimate is really small. How does everyone else compare to the estimated weight on Glow?

Well glow estimates 7.6lbs for a full term baby at 40 weeks. They are giving a basic average. I know to round up the weight on the estimate since all my babies have been the high 8lbs to high 9lbs. Whatever the average of you are your hubby's birth weights is usually around a good guesstimate for your baby's weight. Both my husband and I were in the high 8lbs range and our children together have pretty much followed in the same way. Just remember Glow is just an app on your phone. So don't put too much weight on its advice.

It's like what is the average weight of a 30 year old? Regardless of being male or female, the average would be soooo off the mark.
