Broken toe opinions please!

I broke my toe about 4 days ago I went to urgent care and they taped them together and gave me a shoe to wear and it is the 4th toe so anyway on the after care papers it says to go to the emergency room if it looks gray or blue or is cold and tingly well anyway I feel that since like 2 days ago my toe looks gray to me right under the purpleish bruise

My husband says no that it looks like regular bruising to him but I am also a hypochondriac so idk if maybe I'm seeing things I just need to know if I'm the only one that is seeing my toe gray

Especially since it says to go to the ER for it it freaks me out

Any opinions please😩 being hypochondriac I get literally a panic attack I'm so anxious

**i know I can go to my doctor which I will be making an appointment in the morning to see how it's healing but the thing is idk if I should go to the ER then

Also if anyone knows if this could cause. A bit of calf pain ? This morning I had some calf pain nothing that could stop me from walking but it did hurt a bit also down on the ankle a bit obviously calf pain could mean a blood clot but it only hurt in the morning for like 3 hours then it randomly went away idk if it could also be from the shoe they're having me wear cause the shoe is uncomfortable

And the coldness of toes my toes and feet are always cold anyway I always have cold feet and toes so it's like ugh 😑
