PILL OR PATCH??

Question

I'm starting birth control soon because my boyfriend and I have been dating for a while and have started having sex. I have a pretty heavy period and really bad cramps I'm not sure if I should get the pill or the patch. I wanna know your experiences with both and which you prefer just to get an idea.

i was on the pill for about 5 years straight. 
i had a low dosage pill
i set a reminder on my phone to always take it at the same time..  i liked the pill and didnt have any other form of birth control. 
unfortunately there's no way to tell what your body will be like on either the pill or the patch without trying them.
every woman reacts differently.
id say just do your research and really think about what you want to do. :)
