How bad does a sweep hurt?

I always said I'd deny one but if I make it to my next appt, which is the day after my due date, I'll probably be desperate. 😭😂

I had one on Monday and it was uncomfortable but not bad.

I was dilated 1cm and didn't feel any discomfort at all.  Pressure, yes. But true pain of discomfort, nada. But I've never had any pain or discomfort in my cervical checks, so 🤷🏼‍♀️. Cervix of steel?

I thought it sucked. My first cervical check was a breeze and I was dilated 2 cm but the second and third time hurt SO BAD. I got a membrane sweep on a Tuesday and went into labor on Wednesday.

dr checked my cervix, when finished i asked what she thought of a sweep n she said she did it. went into labor 2 days later

It uncomfortable. But I don't think it's something to be scared about. It doesn't last forever either.  I had one with my first. I asked for one today since I'm 39.6 and only at a 1 w/ a - station. She couldn't get up there far enough to complete it. But personally I wanted to try a sweep before induction is even discussed. Doesn't look like that's going to happen. :(
