I moved from Brooklyn, NY to NC when I was about 10 years old. One of my childhood friends and I have been keeping in contact with each other, over the past 7 years or so, through social media. The conversations were mainly "how have you been?", "how are things?", "what have you been up too?", "how's life?", etc. Recently we've been talking more and long story short....we've grown closer to each other. We really like each other and we're interested in seeing where things go. He still lives in NY and I'm still here in NC. In October he's coming down for a visit and we're going to spend the weekend together. Have any of you guys ever been in a long distance relationship? How long did it last, or are you still in one? Would you ever give it a try? How did you and your S/O make things work?
