distance and affection

so my boyfriend and I like almost an hour away from each other and I've always been the one to show him off online whether it be Facebook or whatever and my boyfriend's never really been the one to show me off online often and it kind of bugs me in a way because he shows me so much affection over text but when it comes to showing me off online it's almost like I have to ask for it and I know I shouldn't care if he post about me often online and it's not that I do but it sucks when you're constantly showing someone off but never being shown off yourself. any tips on bringing it up to talk about it without making it seem like social media plays a big part of our relationship. cause it sucks but idk I always see guys brag about their girls online and it upsets me to see cause he rarely ever posts about me. and when he does it's only because I've tried talking to him about this before and it's like does it to make me happy and then never does it again. butALWAYS posts pictures of his weed(he has his med car) and his puppy. so... why can't he ever randomly post about me... does this effect anyone else or...
