Date help!

Hi ladies, I need y'alls opinion. I met this guy on Monday, he asked for my number and to hang out, we talked for a couple of days and made plans to go on a date tomorrow night (Friday). I haven't heard from him since Tuesday when we were texting constantly and then he said he needed to go to bed, good night, etc. My question: would it be too much to ask if he was still down to go out on tomorrow or should I just assume he lost interest considering the lack of contact? This is probably a dumb question but I've never been in this exact first date situation before haha
