HYPOTHYROIDISM...anyone have it? have you gotten pregnant with it???

I've been diagnosed with hypothyroidism for 2 years now. having a horribly rough time trying to convince. i am off my meds because I couldn't afford a doctor. not really feeling different. has anyone got pregnant while having this??? we try and try but every time nothing. it is horrible. I feel pretty much the same without my meds. but trying to go the natural route with oils and stuff. please help me out. 2.5 years of no baby is hurting me.

I hate to say it, but you shouldn't be ttc if you can't afford a dr-- because it doesn't sound like you can afford care for a baby, & also because you will be putting your baby in danger if you get pregnant (which will be hard to do if your levels are off) & your thyroid is out of whack. I'm hypo myself & had a successful pregnancy, but I can tell you that Drs have to monitor the heck out of your thyroid when you're pregnant because of the dangers of having bad levels.
