2nd baby preemie?

I had my daughter at 34weeks.. no pregnancy complications. Not sure why she came early. She was in the NICU for 10days. We are thinking about TTC (daughter is 18m). 
Anyone have a preemie and their 2nd baby make it to term? If you had a preemie... what did your dr do different for your second pregnancy? I know I'll be seeing a specialist on top of my OB. I'm really nervous baby #2 will come early/earlier.. we were so lucky our daughter was completely healthy despite being 6 weeks early. So I'm really worried baby #2 will be early and obviously we might not be so lucky to have a healthy little one.

I had my first 8 weeks early, I had my second 3 weeks early and my last 7 days early. my OB told me if you yourself were a early baby chances are you'll have all early babies too. it has something to do with generics. me and my fiance both were 3 weeks early.

My mom has 7 kids total, I'm the second oldest, I was born 2 months early and was in the nicu for a long time. They have no idea why she went into labour early. However the rest of her pregnancies were fine and normal and the earliest she had any other baby was 38 weeks

My sister in law had her 2nd baby at 36 weeks. This pregnancy the Ob is having her come in weekly for progesterone shots starting at 15 weeks just as a preventive
