I just got my first period😩

Hey I'm 11 and I just started my period a few days ago and I'm on holiday😭😭😭 actually freaking out because their is so much bloooooddddd😧😧😧 I thought I had finished my period yesterday because their had been like no blood for about 24 hours and then when I last went to the loo..... their was more than I've ever seeenn before!!!!! It's like some one put a bloody bomb up their and it exploded every where!!!!! Is it normal to stop and start on your period???
