Fathers rights
I live in the U.K....
So my ex partner and I broke up one week before I discovered I was pregnant. I found out he had been cheating on me for almost the entirety of our relationship.
I decided after many weeks of deliberations that my baby didn't deserve to have her chance of life taken away from her just because her father struggled with commitment and loyalty. I'm now 19 weeks pregnant and as it goes he has moved out of the home we shared together and into the girls house who he cheated with.
The stress he is causing me is unbelievable. He owes me thousands of pounds which I'm promised every single week, he shows up to my house driving her car, send me emotionally abusive messages attacking me personally for my looks, my personality and my relationship with my family. All I done was decide to keep our baby after he didn't want me to.
I don't want to come across as a bitter ex because I'm really not. I may have been to begin with but now I just view it as a lucky escape because he's cheated on her already!! I do however want to limit the contact her has with it daughter (it's a girl!!) purely because I don't trust him to have the best intentions and I also don't trust him to not take her around the girl.
I don't know what rights he has as a father, I don't know how to approach this situation at all. I just wanted any advice at all or if anyone has ever been in a similar situation and got through it.
It is without doubt the hardest thing I've ever been through but I know Emelia will be worth it when she is here.
