first trimester and scared of miscarriage??

I'm 4wks 6 d just found out 2 nights ago and I'm reading all this stuff about miscarriages!! it took me 4 years to get pregnant and I'm so nervous!! hoping I make it thru this thing! and I'm going on a cruise I've planned since last year in two weeks right after the 6 week mark...still scary it could happen anytime 😮😮😆

Stop reading. My best friend miscarried last Christmas, so when I got pregnant with my first in January, I worried and read all the scary stories and freaked out. I miscarried in March. I had no idea it was happening, and there was nothing I could have done to stop it or prevent it. My biggest regret is causing myself so much anxiety and not being able to enjoy those precious first weeks that should have been exciting. I'm now almost 10 weeks with my rainbow baby and although it is so hard not to be scared, I'm praying through it and choosing to be joyful. I still have moments of course, but those short weeks I had with my first taught me so much... and the biggest lesson was that motherhood is unpredictable from the get-go and so much is just beyond our control. Don't waste one precious moment being anxious. Don't let anyone scare you. So stop reading... if you must, then only read the happy "MY BABY IS HERE AND SHE'S SO CUTE!!!" stories. Savor every second of it- even those spent with your head in the toilet 😉

Don't stress about miscarriage. It'll just hurt your body/baby... enjoy this pregnancy and look at all the positives ❤️ congrats! Have fun on your cruise!!

I'm in the exact same boat!!!! 4 years of infertility, surgery, meds it's been nuts. I'm 4 weeks 3 days today. So anxious but I think I need to lay off the reading. Sounds like you do too! Just pray about it and trust that your lil babe is strong like us after all we've been through 💕💕💕💕
