So I got the call on Friday from my Dr that my first trimester screening came back abnormal...meaning I am at higher risk for a baby with DS. She said it doesn't necessarily mean that it is guaranteed it's just an higher chance. As she was telling me over the phone i felt paralyzed. I didn't know how to react. I just said ok scheduled an appt and hungup. I go back to dr tomorrow for more information and to talk about further testing. Me and my fiance have already discussed that i am not going to ha r the amnio test. No matter the outcome we are going to love that baby no matter what! It still though of course is a scary thought to process.... Has anyone else had an abnormal first trimester screening test and there baby be born completely fine?
