Should he take the job?

My husband has the opportunity to take a job that pays much more (we could use the money) but we will work separate hours all week and only see each other on the weekend. We are also TTC. So a plus is we wouldn't need childcare. We are torn and not sure what to do!! HELP!!

Ultimately it's up to ya'll but I would suggest ya'll consider your priorities as a couple. Is financial stability more important than quality time? If he gets this job, would ya'll be able to fulfill your needs as a couple and family when you do have time together during the weekend?

I work days.. my husband works midnights. We have 3 kids (4 months and 8 yr old twin boys) and only have to pay a babysitter for 2 hours in the morning which saves us a ton of money in childcare. 
We rarely see each other. He goes to bed as soon as I get home from work because he is up all day with the kids. He had 2 days off a week. On his first day off, he sleeps to recover from the minimal sleep during the work week. On the second day we can actually spend time together. It's extremely challenging. It's been rough. I think we're finally in a groove for now. 
I told him today that he has to go back to afternoons next year because at least that way I have 2 days a week with him and I can sleep next to him at night. Right now it feels like we are more like roommates. We have a baby so it's hard but literally we have only had sex 4 times this year 😢 I am so miserable. I miss that intimate relationship so much. It's weighing so heavy on me. We have just recently started to see a counselor because I can't live in a sexless marriage. We are now trying to make "us" a priority. It's tough. When he was on afternoons last year we did so much better. 
We have always worked opposite shifts and have always found a way to make it work but we now realize that days/afternoons is much better for us. I would probably do it all over again if it meant we were going to be better off financially. It just takes some good communication and prioritization. Best of luck to you!
