vitex on iud

hi guys. so a few years ago i first learned about vitex to help with my acne that is mostly hormonal but at that time i wasn't on any bc and was a little nervous because I had heard that it increases fertility (opposite of what I'm going for.) last year I got the copper iud and love it for the most part, except now that I'm not on any hormonal bc I've had some crazy side effects. my acne has really flared up recently and I've been getting God awful cramps and headaches. I'm also noticing that my cycles are completely irregular. now that I'm on the iud I'm thinking about getting back on vitex and was wondering if anyone had used vitex for regulating their cycles. most of what i read is women using it to conceive.
