HELP! Having Pains

I have been having pain for a week in the area where my uterus and ovaries are. It feels like someone is stabbing me but then feels like throbbing to the point I wanna cry. someone told me it could just be the depo shot that I started august 8th but I don't know if that's true. Could it be the depo shot or something else? Could it be something bad or just the shot?! Please help because I might go to the hospital
