2nd Day taking Femara- any cycle buddies?

Question

I started Femara yesterday (8/26) and last friday hubby had count done and he had 175 million sperm count. On sept. 5 we have ultrasound to monitor cycle and check for ovulation. Any one in the same time frame or close? My hubby is super supportive but he doesnt understand how hard it is for me and how lonely this can feel when all other women in our lives have litters of children.

yesterday was my day 5 of femera, so today I'm cycle day 10. I'm getting scanned tomorrow or Wednesday to see if ovulation is starting and med worked (I work at an obgyn so I don't have to make an official appt which is nice!). this is my first cycle with it and I'm doing 2.5mg this round, only side effect was headaches and a little nausea at first.

Now with both or either of you did you get to make any choices on your treatment or did they just tell you what to do? Thats what i love about my RE is I had done so much research about infertility and treatments that when i went in there he felt i was really knowledgable about everything so we came up with a treatment together. As i said earlier i had 6 previous cycles of clomid at a low dose so we went straight to 10mg (4 pills) for 5 days. If i dont ovulate we agreed to do a mix of femara and injections. Is it normal to choose what you want and where you want to start? I saw 2 other REs before this guy and they had all made a plan amd yold me thats what we would do, end of discussion. I didnt like that its my body and i know it better than anyone. Also has anyone else done extensive research on all the different treatments before seeing a fertility specialist?

I am on metformin and femara and have pcos. so i dont know which side effects are from which but i have horrible headaches, insomnia, nightmares (all night long), bloating, no appetite, frequent urination, and nausea. i feel like a walking zombie.
