Paraguard Copper IUD

I got the the Paraguard IUD 6 days ago & i have not stopped spotting... it's more like bleeding as if I was on my second to last day of my period. I've read it's normal but wondering how long did your bleeding/spotting after the insertion last, as well as the cramps? I still have bad cramps that not even 800mg of ibuprofen seems to help out with. Just wondering if that's normal, I know every body is different I'm just feeling as if all this bleeding is not normal.
