Butt Plugs? Opinions?

I'm just curious what you others think of butt plugs. I just got my first one and noticed when I got it that it seemed much larger than I thought it was. Decided to try it out by myself before using it with my boyfriend. I'm not a firm LOVER of it. If it made masturbation 10x better, I can't imagine how great it'll make sex. What are your guys' opinions on them?

My boyfriend refuses any kind of butt stuff. I've never actually asked for it and wouldn't want it completely but he has told me he finds every aspect of it disgusting anyway. I have been kind of curious about plugs. I think if I were with someone different that was into it, they would probably eventually talk me into at least trying it. I have a small cache of sex toys and I love them. someday I might try to find a small plug just to see what it's like but I don't know. I don't really think there's anything wrong with them.
