Hello, my husband and I are ttc for 3 months now. I was on birth control for 10years and recently came off 3 months ago. I had a period in June and July but not in August. My doctor did a pregnancy blood test on me and it was negative.

Now she prescribed medroxyprogesterone for 10 days to start my period. Is this safe? Is it common? I don't want to do anything that can cause harm to me or that isn't good for women who are ttc.

Please any advise or experiences with this medication will help!
