I was on the pill (Sprintec) for almost 8 years. I got off the pill a month ago. My first cycle off the pill was completely normal. It came the expected day. It was a bit lighter than when I was on the pill and it lasted 4 days versus 6 when I was on the pill. My husband and I are going to start TTC in the next 2 months. I'm taking prenatal vitamins, exercising, and eating very well.

My question is this: is it normal to not ovulate for a bit after stopping the pill? I bought an ovulation kit to make sure I'm ovulating. I was expected to ovulate today; but had a faint line on a clear blue ovulation test. I'm going to try again tomorrow, but is that to be expected?
