How many calories in one scoop (2oz)?

I've asked so many questions concerning the same thing in the past hours but I just want to make sure I'm doing this right.
It's my first time making formula.
Our baby girl is supposed to have 27 calories in 2oz.
100 calories in 5.3fl oz.
In a 2oz, it says to add one scoop.

By the numbers you are giving I would ask your pediatrician if this is the right formula or for the instructions to make it the desired calories.

This is really baffling me but I'm trying to figure it out for you. 100cals in 5.3 oz. so let's first try to find out how many calories are in 1 oz then multiply it by two to get how many cals are in two oz. So 100 calories divided by 5.3 oz is 18.87 so each oz has 18.87 calories. Times that by two and you get 37.74 calories. So nearly 38 calories in two oz. Does that make sense or am I way off, mathematicians? I think formula is FDA regulated so I would assume all formula will have roughly the same amount of calories. Call dr to make sure the formula is the one they want you using

This formula won't give you 27 calories in 2oz, you'll get about 37 calories in 2oz. Why is your ped limiting calorie intake? How old is your baby?
