Art Student Woes

Im an illustration major, and for our first semester of senior year we have to do a thesis. My thesis teacher wanted us to meet with him in the middle of the summer to discuss our topics. fast forward, to like, a month ago, I send him an email asking if he could meet with me on campus about thesis. I get no response. Send another email, don't get a response until after a week of sending the first email. We schedule a meeting for that upcoming Monday (same day as the eclipse).

Monday rolls around. $25 worth of bus/train rides and an hour and half later, I walk to where his office is located. I sit outside of his office for /two hours/. I asked other faculty in the department if they've seen him. About an hour past waiting I send an email and get nothing back. Eventually I gave up and went home, which took another hour and a half. I got no response back. I missed the Eclipse due to sitting around for him and then travelling in the subway.

Ever since then, I have sent out emails, and he won't get back to me. It's pissing me off so much because he stressed that meeting over the summer was important yet he pretty much blew me off. He has been horrible at communicating with me. I am having a lot of anxiety over it since I really needed insight about my potential thesis topic. School starts the 5th and I have no clue how I'm going to get through this semester if this is how it's going to be.
