Are you going to circumcise your boy?

From the U.K., so we aren't used to it but our boy will be born and bought up in America, where it's more common. Want whatever's best for him.

Its such an american thing , I personally think its mutilation and totally unnecessary in the time we live in . Just make sure to keep it clean and educate him well and he will be 💯.

Don't worry about him not being accepted for being uncircumcised is the USA. My boyfriend isn't, and none of the men in his family are. None of them have experienced any issues living in America. And if someone did, then at least they're showing they aren't worthy of their time because who wants to be with someone who is willing to judge someone on their natural genitals? That's weird.

I will make sure any of my boys are. I work at a daycare where we have several boys who are uncircumcised and I've actually seen one of the boys with an infection and discharge because his parents couldn't clean his penis properly. Other than that the poor babies are usually more dirt in that area than the boys who aren't. During potty training they struggle more learning to use the toilet and leave huge messes compared to our circumcised boys. So after seeing that I think the better decision for me personally would be to have my sons circumcised.

Don't forget the other end of life. 
Yes, you have to clean it when he's little and teach him to clean himself. But there's also when he's old. I know a woman who had to clean her elderly father's uncircumcised penis and she said it was terrible for both of them. That experience alone was enough for her to circumcise her boy.

I personally think it's cleaner & everyone I know, has it done. I'm not saying this for you to do it, I'm saying it bc it's my personal choice & everyone in my family & friends are all the same way. I would say do your research on both. write down pros & cons, & you & your husband decide together! don't let anyone convince you or make you feel bad for whatever choice you make!

i didn't circumsize my son and wont be circumsising the boy im pregnant with now, i have a few friends who didn't circumsize their sons. i think it's becoming less and less of a big deal. and reguardless of what other people think you should always do what you think is best for your child. not just what is culrurally acceptable or culrurally normal
