Is the iPhone 7 plus waterproof?

I've seen for a while now that they are supposedly some what waterproof, I'm wondering if they are or not? 
(Also not sure if I'm aloud to post this on here🤷🏻‍♀️)

water resistant. you can get it wet but I mean, I wouldnt let it sit in water for a period of time. if you spill on it or drop into a puddle and pick it up, its fine.

The 7 plus is. I have one and use it underwater all the time with no case and it's fine. Don't know about just the 7 though

I dropped mine in my dogs water bowl picked it up and it was like it never happened. I didn't have a case on either. My boyfriend dropped his in a bucket of diesel fuel and it didn't harm his at all either lol

It's not waterproof it's water resistant. It can withhold being in water up to 30 minutes. But, it is NOT recommended.
