2 days late and BFN

Hey ladies! DH and I have been trying very regularly since July for our rainbow (MC 4/1/17). I don't chart very closely so I'm not 100% sure when I could have ovulated. I usually have a 35-36 day cycle and am pretty regular with AF. However, today marks CD 38 with no AF or any symptoms of it. I've taken 2 pregnancy tests in the past two days and both have been BFNs.

Also, about 2 weeks ago I had very very light brown spotting only when I wiped that went away after a day or two. Then, when I'm usually pretty dry down there before AF arrives, I've had a whole lot of EWCM every time I wipe even through today.

Has anyone else experienced this and ended up with a BFP? I'm thinking *maybe* I ovulated later than usual and my body isn't picking up HCg yet? Let me know what you think!!
