Wedding hair?
I have a question for you ladies.
I was recently message-chatting with a woman on Instagram about wedding tips and tricks, especially for diy weddings. She brought up a tip she'd heard for hair from her stylist, that you shouldn't wash it the day of and that it should be "2 day dirty." I told her I'd never heard that before, but it may just depend on hair type. She told me her hair is normal, and she washes it every 2-3 days. Apparently dirty hair is easier to style, she said. Has anyone heard this before?
I mentioned hair type because my hair is oily. I wash it every day with a men's 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. If I don't, it feels and looks nasty. I can't "train" it to be cleaned less often as my job requires me to be clean and well-groomed. I've seen a dermatologist and was told I over-produce oil and washing every day is fine. My hair is healthy. I asked my aunt that is doing my hair, and she said she hasn't, and that if she shows up to do my hair and it hasn't been washed, she's throwing me in the shower herself.
Photos are of a day last week during my days off when I was too busy to shower. My hair was "40 hours dirty". (Yes, I had some dandruff too, but that was from a bit of shampoo I missed when rinsing.)
