Hot baths cause birth defects??

Question

Ok so I just read that taking hot baths can cause birth defects. I'm 11 weeks and I've literally took a hot bath everyday since I found out but now I'm kind of worried... 
Has anyone gave birth and took hot baths throughout there pregnancy??? (First pregnancy btw) 😩

Don't worry. Baby will be totally fine. Bath water starts cooling off as soon as you turn off the faucet, so your body temperature isn't sustained at the hot temp for long. Unlike a hot tub which stays constantly high, which is why you want to avoid jacuzzis for an extended period of time. I took baths my whole first pregnancy and taking them with this one as well. Breathe easy and enjoy!

I take baths everyday. they are not scorching hot like I normally have them but they are more than like warm. I lay back so that the water goes over my bikini line and hits my back. my stomach is out of the water almost completely.  baths are going to your best friend throughout your pregnancy!!! get some bath oils & bubbles!! relax! as long as your stomach isn't turning bright red you are fine!

I took over warm bathes with my first. He came out totally fine. My belly was never under the water. When I'd take bathes he'd move all the time I was taking one. Just don't sit in water to the point your belly is red. Your baby will be fine!

Hot baths are fine but don't stay in long. Most drs recommend warm baths so your body temp doesn't get too hot. I took one like every day. My kid is fine

From what I was told, if you're sitting in the bath and sweating - it's too hot. And if your skin is getting bright red, same thing. Just be careful but enjoy your baths, they help a lot.

How hot are we talking? If it's like a hot tub hot I'd worry but regular bath water not so much.

I take a comfortably warm bath every single night with the water over my stomach...19 weeks and everything looks fine with him.

Not hot but only warm baths, the risk my doctor told me was more due to raising body temperature which does cause problems. I'm too scared to even have a bath but lots of women do, and their babies are fine.

I toon warm baths maybe some hot ones here and there my daughter is just fine she's now 4 and I'm pregnant with #2 I've taken a few hot ones but didnt know I was pregnant so far my baby is fine and I'm 30 weeks I stopped hot baths after finding out I was pregnant
