He swears he won't leave, wants to get us a house, and wants us to get married. He is just now starting the police academy and works for his father. I am still finishing school. Sometimes I get the feeling I want a baby to but I know I'm not financially ready but socially I am. Thoughts?

tell him to prove it with his actions not just telling you what he will do or wants to do. tell him if he wants to do something for you to just do it and not tell you about it and talk about it. i always shut down these kind of conversations filled with promises and wants because 99% of the time the aim is manipulation. tell him to prove he is committed or shut it (words dont count for anything) and dont ttc until hes proven himself in real terms not just worthless promises.
