Measuring 5 weeks ahead??

Question

I'm 35 weeks today, I had an appointment and was told my stomach is measuring 40 weeks. Is that normal?

At 32 weeks my belly measured 36 weeks and they did an ultrasound and it turns out my son was still just one week ahead and when they measured my belly he was just curled up. He hated the Doppler so he would curl up after and she ended up measuring after the Doppler. After that they started measuring before the Doppler and never had an issue.

See if they will give you an ultrasound to check your amniotic fluid. I had polyhydramnios and always measured weeks ahead.

Could just be the position he baby was in at the time. Belly measurements are not terribly accurate so I wouldn't worry about it. As long as our doctor isn't concerned for baby's health or safety, you could still go to 40+ weeks
