I have been a SAHM mom since my son was born in 2008, I have worked a few nanny jobs here and there all of which I brought my kids with me. we have 2 now and are trying for a 3 (our last). I said I would not do it if hubby expected me to work at any point until baby was in school full time. I did not have children for someone else to raise/help raise and miss out on any developmental mile stones. I love that he feels the same way as me, we don't trust anyone other than our parents and we want to be the main fixtures in our children's life's

I'm going to be a stay at home Mom and my hubby completely supports it. It's what he wanted. The idea of putting our little nugget in day care was heartbreaking.

I'm due in November. He fully supports me and intends to do so for the rest of his life... He has told me if I want a job I can get one. Buy don't have have to if I don't want to as he's old school and feels he should take care of himself and family.

he supports us financially totally.  with 2, soon to be 3 kids I would be making next to nothing for fulltime work as a nanny. I love the arrangement! I take almost full care of the house and kids and dinner, but he is at work most days for 16 hrs a day to support us. I wish he could be around more, but he is amazing to work so hard for us!

I was fully set to go to work after my maternity leave was up, until my SIL advised us she would not be watching our son since she was accepted into a nursing program. And she waited until I only had a week left to tell me, so it was a "can we possibly find someone we could trust with our six week old baby all night?" The answer was hell no...I've been a SAHM since. My fiancé supports us 100% and says he would prefer I just wait until our son is in school before finding a job if I want one.

I'm due the 31st of October and I've been at home since a huge fall out with a coworker at my previous job back in May. Like when I mean huge, I mean I was tempted to file reports for sexual harassment on behalf of the coworker and discrimination from my boss after he found out I was expecting. My SO told me to quit because of the negative impact my work was having on me and he's been the provider ever since with every intention of doing so indefinitely, but of course he said I can pick up a job anytime I want to.

He supports us completely. I feel like In arguments I occasionally do get the "you try doing something real" jab or "maybe if you had something to really get stressed out about except this stupid bs.." etc. I don't know how respected I really feel on a daily basis.

I have been a stay at home mom since 2013 when my son was born. Went back to work in 2015 as a home care nurse. Then I got pregnant and had to quit cause of HG in late 2015. My husband supports us fully. I'm pregnant again. He's a firefighter and makes enough to support us and I won't need to work. We recently got into an argument because he feels like I was bored at home and I had to explain to him I enjoy being home. But if I find something easy, I would do side work from home. I would much rather start a home business.
