Went back to redo my NT scan at 13w1d and the baby had an enlarged bladder. I go back in two weeks and we basically are hoping the bladder either empties itself but we don't know. Baby's father is missing a kidney and has bladder issues and the couldn't find the left kidney of this baby.

Good news is at my appt the dr could see no signs of a blockage, so he said we may be seeing something like what the father has. If it is a blockage, I'm scared out of my mind bc without being treated, that can destroy the heart and kidneys and is fatal in the womb. I stupidly googled enlarged bladders in a fetus and sonograms I saw at 11 and 12 weeks were much bigger than this at 13 so maybe we have hope of this being survivable.

If you have any experience with this, let me know bc the next two weeks are going to go by agonizingly slow :/
