Marriage and abortion

Me and my husband decided a long time ago when we found out we were pregnant with our son that he would be our only child. My son is now 16 months old and I found out almost 2 weeks ago that I'm pregnant. My husband is supposed to get snipped in November! I was on birth control.

I have an appointment today for a medical procedure. Has anyone ever been through this? Did it affect your relationship?

Btw we are not making this decision solely on the fact we want to have one child only, thwre are other important things we considered
