My doctors office goes by the first date of your last menstrual. Then at the dating scan (around 8 weeks) they'll change your EDD if it's off by more than a week. I remember with #1 my LO was measuring 2 days behind (I knew he would be because I have 30 day cycles). They left the same due date though because it wasn't off by more than a week.
