Motorcycle accident/long story

Yesterday at 2:25pm my world was turned upside down when my partner called me from the side of the road to tell me he'd had a crash.

Ladies with bfs/hubby's that ride you know that this was my biggest fear for a very long time. I almost went with him just because he was only going down the road and back it should have been no more than 15 minutes.

I rushed to the scene with my sister in law ( we live together) when I got there my heart sank, he was just lying there in the dirt screaming.

I saw he was alive and okay and I was immediately angry, I know I shouldn't have been but i could have lost him.

The ambulance got to us fast and took us to the hospital, they put him in a neck brace with fears of spinal injury. I was so upset and horrified I couldn't believe this was happening.

They did ultrasounds CT scans and x-rays. It was a long wait and I was a nervous wreck and after waiting by his side for what seemed like forever (11 hours) the doctor finally came. He told us that everything was normal on all tests and he can come home.

So this morning I woke up and just stared at him knowing how lucky I am to still have him by my side at all. He's in a world of hurt but I know he's learnt his lesson. And he is gonna be just fine.

The way he hit the car could have turned out terrible for him and he managed to get a big bruise on his bum and one scrape on his arm. (He wasn't wearing protective gear besides a helmet, so lucky he didn't lose all of his skin)

How he wasn't more injured we will never know. we are so blessed that our baby still gets to grow up with his/her daddy. ♥️

And to top my emotions over the edge we find out the gender of our baby today 😭
