Everything is falling apart

I'm in college and last semester I met a boy. He was the kind of boy that you think he would not look at you cause he's so fucking hot. We became friends and btw he had a girlfriend at that time, and everyone told me that he was in love with me and we should end up together cause we're like relationship goals.

I didn't do anything with him but my family started hating him and my mom always told me he wasn't for me, that he would break my heart.

He went to his country and break up with this girl, he didn't talk to me the whole summer and I was trying to stop my feeling for him so I didn't text him too!

He came back for college, he's dating THE PRETTIEST girl ever now and I am feeling the ugliest one, he's not talk to me and I told him I felt we were like strangers cause we don't know nothing about each other, and he was like "you didn't talk to me during the summer", he's saying that is my fault, when actually I was just trying to "save" my heart from him!

He talks with all my friends and ignores me, I don't know what to do!

First he told everyone i was his best friend, and did stuffs that boyfriend normally do. But now, he treat me like a stranger!
