Safe in Florida

Ms. A • I'm a single mother of 2 girls

Ok, so I know this post has nothing to do with sex or anything...just wanted to post that this Florida girl is safe & sound after Irma. I live in the Florida panhandle area, about 20 miles south of Tallahassee. We didn't get a whole lot of rain but had a LOT of wind!! When she got to our area, the storm had been downgraded to a strong category 2 hurricane (according to the local weather). Thank God we were safe thru the storm & didn't have any damage. My house is pretty sturdy...woodframe & we didn't have to evacuate. My sister lives behind me in a mobile home & the county called for a mandatory evacuation for all mobile homes Sunday morning. The current went out around 12:30am Sunday night/Monday morning & came back on around 5:30 this mornin. It's a little after 10:00am here & I'm fixin to go get a nap!! I know it might sound strange to be takin a nap at this time of the mornin, but I have not slept well since Saturday night & I'm tired. I hope any of y'all that were in Irma's path are safe as well!!
