So I've just been notified that I need to bring in a family photo for a project that they're doing in daycare. I'm a single mom and my son is the only one in his daycare class without two parents. It's really just absolutely breaking my heart. He's too young to understand still but I just feel like I'm failing him and making him the odd man out. I truly never feel that way usually, he has so many friends that are considered family and my extended family so he isn't hurting for people that love him but this just really got me today. I feel like he doesn't have a for real family, and it just sucks. I thought I had longer before I had to deal with something like this...
