How do you clean while taking care of your baby?

My 10 month old cries every time I walk away and idk what to do. getting her distracted with playing with her toys or watching tv is more exhausting the chores herself 🤣

I noticed that my 7 month old will keep himself entertained longer if i set him down near me. I'll just give him a gew toys while i clean the kitchen and then move him from room to room with me as i go. Except for the bathroom of course, i set him down in the hallway right outside the door so he can still see me.

I lay him down when he's asleep and rush to clean everything before he wakes up . 😂

I had a walker and bouncer I put my son in. I'd put him in the walker and he could follow me. or the bouncer kept him occupied, or in a baby proofed space to crawl in. I don't pick my child up every single time he cries, id go crazy. instead I talk to him, get down and play with him, etc. I know people like to baby wear but I can't handle that. I slowly taught my son a little independence by letting him know it's okay to play alone, and Mommy's not leaving she's just right over here.

Babywear or clean when dh gets home or when baby goes to bed. I do t want to spend my days cleaning away and trying to keep my toddler busy while I do it. I would rather have fun and engage with her.

I did a lot of babywearing around that age! Ring slings are great for the handfree hip carry. They seem to like that best as they get older and they're affordable and easy to use. A back carry is amazing to get things done and easy on your back too. I wear my daughter on my back in our ergo, and she loves it!

I put my son in a bouncer, rocker, exersaucer, or carrier, depending on what I'm doing. I'd have him strapped on me in a carrier when I cooked, vacuumed, or did the dishes.

Put her in an exersaucer or jumperoo and talk to her, tell her you'll be right back and. One back a few minutes later. Or wear her.
