If your OB can't deliver for you, can you refuse a male OB?
I'm not comfortable having a male doctor deliver my babies. I picked a female OB for a reason. The other day as I was leaving she said she put my preferences in the notes so that if she is unable to deliver me for any reason her colleagues will already have it. Do you have the right to refuse a male OB if that's what's offered? Additional question for comments, if you do refuse the male OB will they have a female OB that can come deliver the babies?
