Is sex with condoms safe enough?!

Am I safe having sex with my S/O, with just the use of condoms as protection? I am always so paranoid after sex. 😫

When used properly, condoms are very effective at preventing disease and pregnancy. they are not however full-proof. with that being said, my only form of birth control is condoms and it has been working flawlessly so far. I should however say that my SO and I are ridiculously careful to the point that we will stop in the middle of sex to check the condom and change it out if needed without skipping a beat.

A condom can be an effective form of protection when used properly and if it does not break. But understand that they aren't perfect and they can break which significantly increases your risks of getting pregnant. 
As far as STI's, it can protect you from some STI's, but not all. There is still skin to skin contact as well as bodily fluids being mixed.
