Getting Insurance to cover birth center?

Does anyone have experience getting anthem BC BS insurance to cover the cost of a birth center birth?? All the midwives there are CNMs and they accept insurance. But they charge $8000.

When I called anthem about a month ago (before I found out I was pregnant, they said they didn't cover birth centers and that it would be an out of network until we meet our 9k deductible) but then when we've talked to a few midwives they say that sometimes anthem will cover it.

We had to pay for our first child out of pocket $5000 at a birth center, and we really don't have the money to do that again for our second as we just moved across the country. But I also desperately don't want to have a hospital birth.

Please please help. Any advice is welcome.
