Losing/maintaining weight

Okay so here goes.

Before I found out I was pregnant, I was on a strict calorie intake diet to lose weight (30 lbs lost total).

*I know that stopping that diet and going to a maintaining diet causes around 5-10 lbs fluctuation.

By 20 weeks, I had already gained 30lbs. I went from 173 pre-pregnancy to 202 as of this morning. I have been working out at least 3 times a week and have not been eating terribly. There have been times where I had things I know I shouldn't have or I ate out too much, but not excessively.

I am going back to only eating my soups and salads like I was during my first and beginning of my second trimester. But I'm worried that losing weight might effect negatively. My doctor wants me to start to watch my weight, but wouldn't give me many specifics other than that. She said as long as I can feel the baby moving I'm okay.

Anyone have any experience with this? Or anything similar?
