Could my period be trying to start again?

I'm currently 4 months PP. I mostly breast feed, but have to supplement formula occasionally if I do not pump enough while at work. The past week and a half I have had intense cramping. One day I had a very small streak of blood in my discharge, which made me think it was my period starting again. However, I haven't had any blood since. Today my lower back hurt badly to the point where is was hurting to walk around. 
I'm just wondering if anyone has felt this much pain with their period starting up, or is it something else? Should I contact my OBGYN?

I'm 3 months pp, also mostly bf, and just finished my first period. I swear I could feel it coming for like 2 weeks. I kept telling my fiance "I'm having horrible cramps like period cramps but I hope it's not coming back yet." Then a few more days and no period but more cramps, and so on. Then it finally started. It could be that, but I'd say if it continues and you don't get your period in the next week then call the Dr just to be safe and make sure it's not something else.

I'm having this at 5 weeks pp just done a poet myself about it the lower back ache is killing me. Also exclusively bf xx

My period returned at 8w pp with my first and 6w pp with my second, i was exclusively breastfeeding both times. I dont remember any abnormal pain/cramps but the first pp period is definitely a lot heavier than i have ever experienced. 
Not being able to walk from the pain seems a little extreme. Is there any chance that you could be pregnant again? Doesnt hurt to ask your doctor about it
