Spectra S1 or S2?

Trying to decide on a breast pump! Is the S1 worth the extra expense?

I love my S2 and actually thinking of getting a S1 so I could keep one at home and one at work. You can't go wrong with the S2, but if portability and accessibility is a big thing for you, definitely go with the S1.

I need to be able to pump in my car when I am on the go for work, so the s1 was necessary.  In the end I think you just need to decide if you need the battery for convenience.  I would recommend it, but it certainly wouldn't be necessary for everyone.

I have the S1 and the rechargeable battery has been wonderful. I had a c-section so moving in certain positions has been really difficult, and the fact that I don't have to plug it in while I'm using it makes such a difference! They're the same exact pump, other than the fact that the S1 can be unplugged (you can also keep it plugged in if you want). My insurance covered the S2 completely, but I had to pay $100 to upgrade to the S1 so you need to decide if it's worth it to you.

If you need one that has a battery then go with the S1. I have the S2 and love it, I bought a car adaptor for it so even though it doesn't have a battery I can pump in the car if needed. I'm never really anywhere without a wall socket or vehicle so it's good enough for me.

The only difference between the two is that the 1 has a battery and doesn't has to be plugged into the wall. I didn't think it was worth the extra money.
