Do you think that children should celebrate Halloween or be taught that Halloween is bad?

A lot of Christian & other religious families believe that Halloween is evil & therefore children should be taught not to celebrate it. The idea of celebrating witches, ghosts, & monsters is what god condemns in the Bible according to them. Some parents just don't like Halloween because they don't want their children taking candy & treats from strangers. Some just don't like their kids eating candy period.

I think Halloween is a great holiday for children because it provides opportunities to be creative. It also can be used as an opportunity to teach children that the stigma against witches is false. It could be used to teach them great history lessons. Halloween can also be a very good parent-child bonding experience from taking your children trick r' treating to watching Halloween movies & making candy apples in the kitchen together.
