Feelings for my best friend

Over the past few months I’ve realised that I have feelings for my boy best friend of a few years. He recently broke up with his girlfriend and I know that he used to have feelings for me. What do I do? I don’t know whether to tell him because I’m afraid it will ruin our friendship which I really don’t want to happen, especially if he doesn’t feel the same. Please help ❤️
