Does anyone miss the honeymoon period?

Sometimes I really miss the beginning stages of a relationship where my man chased after me and showered me with admiration and gestures. Is that just me? Any tips?

I think everyone does. It's been two years and sometimes I feel like that phase is gone and then it'll come back out of nowhere.. Just tell him you miss it and both work on trying to keep things passionate. It can be hard with jobs and stuff, but just because you've been together forever doesn't mean you can't still be the way you were when you met.. you both just have to work harder to keep it that way.

I've been married 15 years and we STILL struggle to be in the "honeymoon" phase especially with 3 kids. we recently got into a lull where we just kinda got through our day and if we didn't argue then it was a good day. marriage is HARD and get harder every day unfortunately. I recently found hope though *cue angels singing in background* I treat him like a "boyfriend" I grab his butt, text him at work not much just a hey or I luv u or thinkin about u, every now and then he'll get naughty one lol the little things all add up and now we act more like teenagers than we did when we where before ...its still not perfect but it's better

Yeah but it’s totally normal. I’ve been with my boyfriend a bit over a year now, and I pretty much live with him at this point. Some days we are just a lot more affectionate than others, sometimes arguments happen, sometimes life just gets busy. I always make it a point to text him after he goes to sleep so he can wake up to an “I love you.” I kiss him and tell him I love him every time he leaves the house, when he gets home, and randomly throughout the day. That might be a lot to some people, but it’s normal for us. 
Sometimes I make it a point to tell him how much I love him though. It’s easy to say “I love you,” every day, so it can just feel like routine. It’s important to think about why you love them and to tell them why. It feels good to have someone tell you what they see and love in you, and I think it strengthens the relationship to regularly think about why you chose each other.
