How did you ask your child’s godparents

/legal guardians to take that role?

Ya know, in case something happens to you/your SO where someone would take on the responsibility of caring for your child?

Who did you choose?

Did the choice cause jealousy?

I am the middle child to two sisters and I want my older sister and her husband to be put in our will. I’m worried my younger sister will be hurt, but at the same time she is 21 and still figuring her life out- I wouldn’t want to add stress and burden.

We also have another couple we’d like to put as secondary in case anything happens. Not shared custody, but who we’d trust with our kids in case my sister and her husband aren’t able.

I know this is a long post but I’ve been thinking of it so much.
