Should physician assisted euthanasia be legal?

To clarify, with written and/or taped oral consent by someone in their right mind, should a physician be allowed assist that person in dying through lethal injection/pain medication OD, etc?
Saw the topic and thought a poll would be appropriate for a general idea on opinions of this demographic.

We do it for dogs but we won't allow people to make their own decision?  Ridiculous to me

As a nurse who watches people suffer from terminal illnesses, yes. 100 times yes. People should not have to suffer.

I'm for it when it comes to those who are beyond doubt terminally I'll, but I don't agree to it in cases of chosen suicide- I like to think there's always some form of hope in those cases.

Death with Dignity is already legal here in Oregon. Has been since 1997? I want to say.

So long as it’s done with the proper protections for individuals that may be subject to manipulation(the elderly, minors, those with cognitive disorders or mental illnesses, low income individuals, etc.) I say yes. 
Having watched loved ones suffer greatly until there deaths I believe people should have the option to ask fo death with dignity.

It's legal in my country and I'm planning on getting it if and when I can not longer take care of myself because of old age or sickness. My partners paternal grandfather passed away from it a couple of years ago after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. It allowed him to not have to suffer or die a slow painful death. I think that should be a human right...
